The Best Tasting Foods of Paris

For all you foodies and travelers alike, here is an informative post about some of my favorite foods like I like to indulge in when I visit Paris, which is by the way one of my favorite cities in the world! Beware, this post might make you hungry!!

Paris is known for many things. From its incredible architecture and history to being one of the most romantic cities in the entire world. One thing that is often overlooked is the style and quality of the food, even though it truly should not be. Paris is truly one of the great food capitals of the world and it is a must for any visitor to come and experience the cuisine. The Paris Agency Prestige International has property near many of the best shows and restaurants offering these delicious food options..

Now, it is important to understand that favorite food is going to greatly depend on what someone enjoys. So, what one person is going to like is most likely going to change from what another individual likes. However, in general, with it comes to the most authentic and best tasting Paris favourite foods, these are at the top of the list. There are so many great foods, whether you are looking for a cheap eat in Paris or a gourmet meal.

For those who love sweets and textured food, caramels is a must. These candies are especially rich and buttery flavored. The taste is far richer than what someone coming from the UK or the United States is going to be use to. It has much more of the buttery flavor than a sweet, sugary flavor. Now, there are different caramel stands and shops spread throughout the city, so selecting just one can be difficult. Sampling as many as possible is often the way to go.

Baguette and Pastries

If there is one thing most European nations, especially western nations, are known for it is the bread. Almost every country on the planet has some sort of bread it specializes in, but France and Paris in particular, seem to specialize in every kind of bread. The baguettes are not as sweet or sugar filled as what bread is commonly found in Australia or the US, while the pastries have decadent frosting and dark chocolate. The breach also has a desirable crust and crunch to the exterior with a soft, chewy middle. It doesn't matter how many times someone has had a baguette back, it is nothing like what is available in Paris and this easily lands onto the list of Paris favourite foods.

Like bread, every country has its own specific style of chocolate. For sweet tooth lovers, it is essential to check out the chocolate found in Paris. There are some truly amazing chocolate shops spread out throughout the city. These different kinds of shops are going to specialize in a wide range of chocolate. Plus, as mentioned before, caramel is a top food item in Paris, so locating the chocolate and caramel mixed candies is a must for anyone.

While there are different kinds of cheese found in Paris, possibly one of the most world renown locations to sample cheese is Laurent Dubois. While there are other locations that offer up delicious cheese, this is one of the largest selections and all of the cheese can be vacuumed sealed, making it easy to take the cheese back home without going stale.

This very French desert has been around since the early 20th century and it offers up a unique serving that looks almost like a hamburger. The top and bottom of the macarons consist of a cookie like material and the middle is filled with a jam filling, buttercream or ganache. This way, every lover of sweets can find something that best fits their tastebuds. Plus, the macarons are generally small, so it is easy to sample a wide selection. These food options are a must for the top Paris favourite foods around.
