Austria houses some of the world's best music festivals like the Salzburg Festival, Haydn Festival in Vienna, and the International Chamber Music Festival. Have you been to Vienna? The Austrian capital is also Europe's musical capital. Vienna, infamous for its rich history, is flourishing again with multitudes of music, art, and various festivals. This city is the birthplace of Mozart, whose presence can be felt to this day. Horse dances are also a part of these festivals- something you'll only find in Austria! It snows in winter here, so make sure to visit the snow-covered mountains. Austria is a mountainous country with a population of 8.7 million people. The country has an average temperature of 10 degrees Celsius, depending on the season. In the summer, Austria experiences moderate temperatures and rainfall.
