2012 has been yet another incredible year. When I look back on the past 12 months, I cannot believe how much I have squeezed in! Here are my highlights from the past year…
My first proper taste of Arabia in Morocco
Watching dive-bombing pigeons in Milan
Getting to know the locals in The Gambia
Getting up close and personal with Rhino's in Senegal
Joining British Airways and getting my WINGS!
Flying around the world as Cabin Crew… Boston, Tokyo, Paris, Vegas, Nairobi, Rio and many more…!
Climbing an enormous sand dune in France
Watching the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona (and no-I wasn't crazy enough to run myself!)
Getting lost in the Czech Republic and almost missing my flight home!
Posing as students and sneaking into Cambridge University to explore!
Finishing flying, ready to get stuck back into my teaching career
Climbing the Leaning Tower of Pisa
Not a bad accomplishment for one year huh?
So what does next year hold? Well that would be telling, but I can assure you that there will many more adventures, and many more posts to share them with you all!
Happy New Year!

Hello I have question about your cabin crew work you had, I’m thinking to try it out in future but is the salary enough to live on? Do you have any tip where to live if I only want to work 6 months? I’ll write my email if you want to respond and what is the diffrence between mixed fleet and cabin crew?
Hi, this post might answer some of your questions- https://lifeasabutterfly.com/2012/12/09/the-truth-about-being-cabin-crew/ . Mixed fleet is simply a branch of Cabin Crew a BA that do a mixture of long and short haul flying. If you have any more questions feel free to send me a message at lifeasabutterfly@hotmail.co.uk
