An Indian Backpacking South America Solo

Back in January I sent out a request for guest bloggers to cover me in my absence straight after the birth of my baby. I was intrigued when Vinay responded saying that he was a solo Indian backpacker in South America. On all of my travels I’m not sure I’ve ever met an Indian backpacker and I have certainly never seen one in South America! Typically it’s the Brits, Americans, Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders with a few Europeans thrown into the mix that I meet on my travels. Vinay isn’t a blogger per se, but he creates fantastic videos of his travels that I think are worth watching. Here’s one that provides an overview of his recent travels-

Vinay Patel is an automobile engineer turned artist. He makes large scale sculptures and I also consults with businesses for their branding. For 6 months from April to Sep 2016 he went backpacking across 6 countries – USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. What started as a risky trip to meet an online love interest became something bigger and better! You can see more of his videos on his website.
