Bibetta Picnic Blanket Review

We have had BEAUTIFUL weather here in the UK the past couple of weeks and I have been making the most of my maternity leave by toping up the tan in the back garden. Sunbathing with a baby, however, does have its challenges! Fortunately I was recently sent the Bibetta picnic mat to review so I have been able to put it to good use when sunning it up with baby in tow on these sunny days.

Bibetta mixes stylish designs and high performance fabrics to create products with a ‘wow’ factor whenever you use them. The picnic mat, along with many of Bibetta’s other products, are made with neoprene (the same material used to make wetsuits) so they are naturally waterproof, soft, comfortable, easy to clean, tough and durable. This is an excellent material for baby as it gives her a gentle cushioning and can be easily wiped clean- she has just started teething so it’s dribble galore at the moment! The blanket is perfect for outdoor activities such as walking, picnics, music festivals and camping. The high quality mats are waterproof and insulating to protect you from damp, wet and cold ground and the sponge-rubber middle layer is padded for comfort on rough, stony ground or hard floors. They high have a fine fabric outer layer which will not collect grass or sand and is easy to wash off any food and drink spills.

I also love the way that the blanket looks, it’s stylish leaf pattern looks great and it also comes with a matching shoulder bag for transportation. The blanket is available in 3 sizes and 3 colours and retails at £39.99 which I think it a pretty reasonable price given the quality. You can have a look at the picnic blanket, along with their other products, on the Bibetta website. Right, it’s 25 degrees today so I’m off to sunbath…
